Family University was a partnership between Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) and Alignment Nashville that provided educational enrichment and a series of trainings to encourage, empower and equip MNPS families and caregivers with tools they need for success. The program provided pathways for families to be effective partners and co-creators along with MNPS educators, school leaders, and Nashville community partners in their students’ success. The program was active from November 2022 to June 2024. The current iteration of the program, Family & Community University, is now completely housed within the Office of Family and Community Partnerships at MNPS.
