On October 2, MNPS hosted its inaugural Standing Strong 4 Support event at GEODIS Park to honor the school-based support staff whose day-to-day dedication makes student success possible. From cafeteria workers and bus drivers to paraprofessionals, office staff, campus safety ambassadors, and more, these essential team members were celebrated with food, music, giveaways, and heartfelt gratitude.
Superintendent Dr. Adrienne Battle spotlighted the integral role of support staff in MNPS’s record-breaking achievements — including its four-year streak as a top-rated Level 5 district, highest-ever TCAP scores across multiple subjects, and its record-high 2024 graduation rate. Elected leaders, board members, and Mayor Freddie O’Connell were also present to personally thank staff members.
Alignment Nashville was proud to partner in planning this event, helping coordinate logistics to ensure a meaningful and well-executed celebration. The success of this event underscores what we know: students thrive when the full school ecosystem is valued. We look forward to continuing this tradition in years to come alongside MNPS.
