Provide nutritious food options and nutrition education for all children. Improve the health status and practices of school faculty and staff.
Provide coordinated school health education.

Use Community Centers, schools and playgrounds.

TACTICS
Lobby for the sales tax relief on healthy foods.
Establish leadership committee of members from service community.
Begin/expand Community Garden Programs.
Partner with larger grocery stores to develop in underserved neighborhoods.
Alignment strategic plan include coordination of services and mentoring.
Include in teacher/principal evaluations – level of participation in mentoring for kids.
Schools/Community groups partner to design and present meaningful comprehensive curriculum of basic needs of child. Delivery is varied incorporated into GED programs/job training, etc.
