Help spread the word!
While there are many organizations in Nashville who serve large numbers of children and youth in after-school and out-of-school programs, there is not a consistent message or language about children’s health that is shared across these organizations.
The six AN Children’s Health goals, however, can provide that needed common language and framework, as they address the most pressing children’s health issues in our community.
The Children’s Health Executive Oversight Committee invites community organizations to participate in the development and implementation of a community-wide communications project around children’s health issues in Nashville. Community organizations are invited to propose ways that they can align existing programs, resources, and materials to provide relevant, timely information to the community about issues related to all six of Alignment Nashville’s Children’s Health goals. The Committee will work with these organizations to develop consistent, positive messages that will be reinforced throughout the community to inform and equip Nashville’s children and youth, and their families, about their health.
