We want all children to be ready to learn when they begin school.
Books, books and more books! We’re working to ensure all Nashville four-year-olds are familiar with the same set high-quality books that are read aloud by caring adults in order to have a shared context to begin their school years.
MoreMiddle School-aged kids should feel safe in school.
A cruel word. A suspicious whisper. A nasty look. Teasing and bullying can shatter a pre-teen’s desire to succeed.
MoreWe want teenagers to succeed in school and step confidently into their future.

MoreMaking the "right" decisions isn't easy when you're a kid.
It’s the topic that’s just so-o-o hard to talk to teens about. We’re helping teachers assigned with that task make those conversations easier. Sexual responsibility, including the social and emotional benefits and consequences, and disease prevention are key components. Discover how you can help.

MoreHelp spread the word!
While there are many organizations in Nashville who serve large numbers of children and youth in after-school and out-of-school programs, there is not a consistent message or language about children’s health that is shared across these organizations.
MoreCollege should be for everyone...
All of the evidence confirms there is a need to improve access to postsecondary education for students in MNPS. This is particularly true for those students who are first-generation and low-income. Currently, in Nashville, there is no organization with the explicit mission of improving college access rates for metro students.
