Dear friends:
In the aftermath of the early March tornados and the on-going COVID-19 crisis, food insecurity is a critical issue facing Nashville families. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, with an army of volunteers and the backing of a generous community, continues to distribute countless much-needed food boxes to students and families in partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools – However, as the demand for essential supplies continues to increase, they need your support now more than ever!
Here’s how you can help:
- Volunteer with Second Harvest to help sort, pack, and distribute food donations to MNPS students and families in need.
- Donate most-needed food items by visiting a drop-off location, hosting a food drive, or starting a virtual food drive.
- Give generously to support Second Harvest’s work of feeding Nashville’s families.
Alignment Nashville joins dozens of other nonprofit partners supporting the needs of Metro Nashville Public Schools to spotlight the incredible work and amplify the on-going needs of Second Harvest Food Bank. We truly are #BetterTogether.
