Each year, the MNPS Career Exploration Fair offers every 9th grader the opportunity to explore careers and choose their Academy for 10th – 12th grade. This year, as the Academies of Nashville office prepares for another VIRTUAL Career Exploration Fair, we are seeking more community partners to submit brief videos to help expand our existing library and showcase as many careers and industries as possible for this year’s freshmen.
MNPS is curating a library of brief videos to provide virtual career exploration activities for our students. These videos don’t have to be long, and they don’t have to be professionally produced – in fact, you can easily create and submit your video on your phone. Need ideas? Check out the industry and business profiles and videos currently available on the Virtual Career Fair website.
All we need is a three-minute video that incorporates these three simple elements:
Introduction (30 Seconds)
EXAMPLE: Who you are and what you want to share.
Engagement & Interactivity (2 minutes)
EXAMPLE: Share footage of your organization in action.
Answer a Question (30 seconds)
EXAMPLE: Choose a Career Expo interview question to answer.
